Popcorn
I always take a small zip lock bag with popping corn and a bit of salt in it and pop it over the camp fire at night. Every ones loves it esp. the smell!

yeah, but you need a pretty large pot to cook it in, much larger than you'd need for just plain camp cooking.
Is it worth the extra weight of the larger pot?

No you don't need a large pot at all. my potis only about 10cm diamention. Very small. Just keep it moving over the heat.

Popcorn kernels always get stuck in between my teeth. Too much trouble for me.

Thanks for the idea. Maybe I'll bring some on the next overnight trip. Some things are just special and are worth the extra weight.

Good, just make sure you consume it asap? It will have swollen taste after, say 3 days later.
