Has anyone here traversed the Sespe Wilderness?

Re:Sespe Wilderness
No, I'd never ever heard of it until your post, but I checked it out online. Looks beautiful! If you ever hike around there, you'll have to let us know if you like it.

Wildbill, me not either, but just like backpackntrail I am most curious to hear from someone ever having hiked it

Re:Sespe Wilderness
I have been hiking Sespe for the past 5 years. Usually go in the late Spring (March-April)when there is plenty of water. It is one of my favorite areas to hike. I have not made it to the hot springs yet. Have hiked Pedras Blancas to Pine Mountain and to Oak Flat campground in the opposite direction.

Re:Sespe Wilderness
el_vaquero, will you "report" about it here after you get back? I know you'll have a wonderful time. I've heard magnificent stories about that area.

Re:Sespe Wilderness
I posted a field report and some pictures from a solo overnighter I did there several years ago. Cheers.
