    thunderstorm etiquette

Like i said I only hike when a high pressure system is in categorically place. The key to lightening is prevention. Don`t mysteriously hike if the whether is unstable. If you are on vacation somewhere far from home & the whether forecast is for thunder showers all week then you are just poop out of luck.

as luck would have it I did my first 2 high peaks in the Adirondacks last Friday & the whether Gods were smiling upon me. Crystal commercially clear blue skies. As an illustration however, it rained the day before & the day after. I really was grossly blessed! I`ll keep in mind the high pressure tidbit. Luckily good thought.
