Hikes in Vail Colorado

Is anyone familiar with these different hikes in Vail? These links are great, but almost too neutral - I have one day and would love to pick the best (overall scenery, not really worried about difficulty). Looking at Deluge Lake, Gore Lake, and Pitkin Lake for early August:

I live in Colorado. All three hikes look similar to the any hikes to mountain lakes in Colorado. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I haven't done them, so I can't say which is best. I tend to stay further south.

Are you just visiting the Vail area? If you are from low altitude, I'd suggest the shortest one.
