Arizona summer desert hiking

Does anyone have a story about hiking in 100+degrees in the desert. This is my favorite time to hike .no people ,less snakes, but I do have to carry at least a gallon of water with me.

Never been in Arizona but I like to experience the Grand Canyon trails.

Yeah I have a good one. I almost killed myself and my girlfriend. Seriously, no joke. It got pretty hairy for a minute with the intense heat and no water, and lots of bear activity. This was just this last summer right after we had 3 bear attacks in like a 2 week span. So, it was pretty freaky. Anyway, I wrote a blog about it if you want a good read.
