Hello and quick question about wearing cross gender backpack.

Hello there, I'm 23 and interested in day hiking.

I was browsing the store, looking for a day pack. I settled on the Gregory Maya 18, not knowing that is was the female model. I tried it on and it fit comfortably, so I'm just wondering what is the difference between the male and female models? Is there a commonly understood difference between the male/female model backpacks? Should I bother returning it if it fits? It didn't seem to look any different than the Miwok 18.

If it fits, wear it. Nobody can tell the difference from looking at it.

The difference is a female pack is generally for a shorter torso. There may be some adjustment differences, but it's nothing anyone would notice.

Ah, that explains it. My torso is ~17 so that's why it fit so well. I'm glad I got it now.
