Night vision goggle!

I ever wonder, is there anyone of you here, ever try to go for a night hiking with your night vision goggle on? yeah! anyone out there? that's is the most interesting question, if yes! please share your experience with me & everyone in these forums, thank you!

What about you? have you try that out yourself, i did like to hear it from you? anything you want to talk about putting on a night vision goggle to go for night hiking? ever try out that before? thanks!

no, I dont use night vision goggles. I have binoculars with 70mm objective lenses and they show up anything in the starlight.
especially the stars themselves

yup. binoculars really ARE cool. I only bring them on short trips though

Night vision goggles the reals deals cost a pretty penny, up to $1,000.00 for a qiuality pair. You can get a kids set for about $100.00 tops via amazon and they work OK but then again they're made as toys so don't expect a high quality item. I'de invest in a quality LED head lamp along with some Lithium batteries to boot. Save your $$ and forget about the NV unless you plan on going to the middle east on a deployment.

I bought me a nice par of night vision goggles here http://nmdeluxe.com and I had a blast walking in the woods at night. I saw something that would not have been possible without them, like a herd of deer bedding down for the night pretty cool I have to say.
