    Most useless stupid thread ever

This is the post to put anything useless that has know where else to go.

For instance, what happened in your day today, something stupid or funny you heard or saw. Just about anything you can think of goes in this thread ( within reason of corse).

I will go first, today after work I played with my two budgies which my sheperd thinks they belong to her. So I got this silly pic of her trying to kiss them lol.

Alice came to a fork in the road, " which road do I take"? she asked.
"Where do you want to go"? responded the cheshire cat.
    " I don't know," Alice anwered.
"Then," said the cat, " it doesn't matter".

your dog has rather pretty eyes.

for my part, a useless and pointless thing which I have been considering lately is the fascination I have for this useless and pointless product

It is a small camping stove which burns twigs and pinecones, with the aid of a small battery powered bellows/

I dont know why, but Ive always found this an interesting idea, even though I dont need one

That stove is very interesting, but I have made a stove thats called a buddy burner. You take a small tuna can and roll up card board slightly smaller than the heigth of the tuna can. Make sure you roll several pieces to make it a tight fit. Melt wax in a double boiler or any empty can in side of a pan of water. When wax is melted pour over rolled card board till can is full. Let set up and harden. Use vise grips on can when melting wax can will be hot.

I have made a few and they boil water in 4min., but the wax leaves soot all over your cookware. Kinda useless imo lol.
You can youtube Buddy burner and get complete directions.

My dog Tibby does have beautiful eyes..... another shelter dog saved. Thanks for the compliment Woak.

yup, it really is interesting. for some reason I am just fascinated by backpack stoves which burn only woodchips and pinecones and stuff like that. I dont like the ones which burn liquids or petroleum products at all.

how do you know that Tibby wouldn't simply swallow those two budgies if you let her?

She just might swallow them whole lol.... She has a big appetite! Although I have to keep her on a diet, or she gains weight fast.

Tibby actually believes the budgies are her birds. When I first brought one home she was in love with her. She follows them everywhere and first thing in the morning she goes to their cage to check on them. Its rather very cute the way she acts.

Tibby is very loving to all animals, she doesn't chase squirrels or cats and generally welcomes strange dogs into her home.

that is pretty cute, I gotta admit.

I guess german sheperds are more tolerant of other animal species than most other dogs.

Rockytibby do you have a 3g already?

I get...hmm whats the word, not upset, not angry, maybe discontent....idk....but I see the craziness in commercialism in those Verizon commercials where they portray people with a 3G phone as inferior to those with 4G, and that now all the people with 3G need to buy a 4G to be on the same level as the people with 4G lol. The 3G is great and way better than my phone lol come onnnn. That thing still plays .wav files as ringtones xP! Those Gs sure are nice though!

GD, right now I'm using a LG envy touch and I cant open a pdf file or open files on my email. So its pretty much out dated. I mainly do all my internet from my pnone and a lot of my work. My work is office and home based and I'm on the go a lot, so an upgrade is in need. I work for theVA Caregiver Program so I travel to veterans homes. I haven't bought a new phone in almost 3 yrs, so its also kind a treat for myself.

GD, You wouldn't by any chance know how good the Garmin Forerunner 405cx is would you? There doesn't seem to be many runners on the forum, and right now they are on sale at Costco. Just curious

I know nothing about Garmin Forerunner, or any Garmins for that matter, sorry cant be of help. But Garmin's in general are excellent, I bet it would be a great buy.
