Topo maps for Garmin Etrex

Hello,
I'm looking for the best bang for my buck on purchasing topo maps for my Garmin Etrex.
Any suggestions? I am really, really new at this and I'm in Kentucky.

what model of Etrex do you have? The base models suck as mine don't support maps. The newer ones and higher end ones do. I brought mine as I didn't care that it didn't have maps. Didn't feel the need for them as I still carry map and compass. I simply use mine to mark points and to verify that I am correct on where I think I am with a map.

It's the Garmin Etrex venture that holds maps and has a color monitor.

Might want to check this site out. It links to some free maps. Bear in mind I haven't used it as I don't have a gps that supports maps.
