Nope, that'll never happen unfortunately.

However, I think we could, just maybe, possibly lower our needs of fuel. But that'll take a lot of sacrifice (as if we already aren't sacrificing enough already) of today’s modern car and lean more toward electric cars. I still this as a totally realistic achievement. That will in turn raise the demand for electricity over time, but what’s worse of the two evils?

well, data was collected only near the existing gas wells. areas without any gas wells were not examined at all. the poisonous substances seep up from areas which are being processed by the bastards in charge of gas extraction.

Hey if you expect me to defend ed rendell I am not going to. but I still think thats sidestepping the main issue... republicans are FAR more likely to sell out on the environment than democrats.

Yep, I agree that is your opinion. LOL I'm just sayin there ain't no difference. And, there isn't. In Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Maryland, it was the democrats that sold the environment down the river. Look at the mid-Atlantic and the Northeast. It's been run for years by democrats, and it has been turned into a sewer. So, what is the difference? There is none. They are just lining their own pockets.

No need to direct you to news stories. The proof is in the pudding, my friend. The Northeast and the mid-Atlantic states have been run since WWII by Democrats. Just look around at the sad state of affairs.

In any legislator with a minority of Republicans, you can't blame the Republicans for results. Their proposals have gone nowhere. It's time for the Democrats to stand up and admit what they have done to the wild areas of Pennsylvania and other states accross the east coast. They can start with New Jersey IMHO. Let them drink the water, and tell us how they have cared for the environment.

Not that we would have been better off under Republican leadership. My point is that they are all the same. They are all politicians, (and probably Lawyers) so by default they don't tell the truth. I wont try to defend them, and never will. To try and blame one party, and give the other a free pass, is just plain silly.
