Here's some good hiking information.

If you like desert hiking, I'd definitely check out Arches National Park.

Here's an article I wrote about one of my favorite mountain ranges, the Uinta Mountains.

I love to hike in the mountains near by home in Utah... specifically the canyons along the Wasatch front and in the Uinta mountains in north-eastern Utah.
