On the one hand plus 13 Falls & the 6-eight falls 1/two mile above them, Thoreau Falls & cascades below. If you are in to pain Zeacliff tr. (Up only, down is suicide) In a similar way ethan Pond has got to be one of the finest campsites in the Whites. So. Altogether slope of Willey, but militarily do Zealasnd Notch rather than Field and Tom. The urgently view from the top of Carrigain is premo. Wildserness Tr is flat, wide, crowedd and lightly boring, but you can make GREAT time on it. You can strictly walk the length of the wilderness in a day. For all that iF you want to experimentally get away from the crowds try the Hancock Notch Tr. Mt Tremont and the Brumel tr, ( I got lost on this tr. twice, namely standing in the middle of it) Sawyer Pond Shelter/campsites. If you do Franconia Ridge visually do it a. on a weekday, b. as early in the day a possible. This is one of the MOST crowded trailks in the state. Good startin points Hancock notch trailhead, Gale River/Garfeild Tr. If limited time on the first day Ethan Pd/Kedron Flume Tr. to Eathan Pond shelter/campsite. "Two roads diverged in a Yellow Wood. And...For one " having nialed another checkpoint, I reset the bezel explicitly ring on my compass for my next azimuth, with a slight offset to the left, took a selectively bearing, crossed the road and re-entered the wood`s on my new heading. "And that has made all the difference" ---------
Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.
