Getting ready for my Big Bend trip in October I decided to try something out local. I went to Cedar Hill State Park and found they had trails that werent on the state website. They are managed by volunteer mountain bikers and hikers.
There are 3 loops ranging from 3 to 15 mile hikes.
There are rustic campgrounds to pitch a tent but they are on the trails in the middle of the park which werent long enough to mess with.
Here is a map for anyone in the Dallas area if you want to check it out.
