Im going to Tahoe next week for 4 days...what are some good modserate hikes? I've a little one(8mons.) As i mostly see it with me, so the hike can only be 1-2 hours. At length thank you in advance.:)

Thanks Tom. We usauly carry the baby in a hiking pack, but we may check out the 1 witch is stroller friendly...it is pavement, I hope.
Id & get a copy of whitch book. Thank you every one else for there sugestions.

Where in Tahoe are you stayin? Its roughly an hour from 1 end of the
Lake to the other.
North Shore:
Donner Pass/ Donner Summit areas (PCT)
Five Lakes Basin at Alpine meadows
West Shore:
Page Meadows near Sunnyside
Basrker Pass sectyion of the PCT
The General Creek trail at Sugar Pine Point State Park
The Tahoe-Yosemite trail at Meeks Bay
The Rubicon trail at D.L. Bliss State Park
South Shore:
Desolation Widlerness trails at Fallen Leaf Lake
Desolation Wilderness at Echo Lake on Hwy 50
The PCT at Hwy 50 (south)
The Tahoe Rim trail at Tahoe City, Page Meadows, Bakrer Pass, Echo
Summit, Luther Pass, Hwy 50 at Spooner Summit (East side of Lake),
Brocklway Summit (Hwy 267 North Shore).
Carson Pass about an hour south of South Lake.
Mt. Granted rose Wilderness (East side)
And about 30-40 more!
