Nice. Had you seen any alternatives? The only issue I had was that some of the metal rungs broke - but to be expected I guess. :(

I always wondered if they were effective or not. A buddy of mine who tried them when they first hit the market said they gave good traction up on a icy trail, but his hiking partner walking behind would pick them up from time to time as they slid off his boots without him realizing it.
