Ive been wanting to do some winter camping when the snow comes, im from Newfoundland so the coldest its going to be is around minus 10, so ive been looking online for some gear and this is what ive been thinking of getting:

1. MSR whisperlite shaker stove - $69.98
2. MSR 20oz fuel bottle - $17.95
3. Slumberjack latitude -20°F mummy sleeping bag ( about 29°C ) - $59.98
4. MSR Twin Sisters shelter - $159.97
5. GSI Outdoor Bugaboo Teflon Cookset - medium - $29.97

Any suggestions or changes i should make? And if anyone could give me their own personal review of anything it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I totally testify for the slumberjack sleeping bag. you wont be cold, even without the twin sissy shelter. its a great sleeping bag and I recommend it most highly. the msr is a good backpacking stove but its so much easier and lighter to simply build a small cooking fire. cheers.

in that case I suggest you ingest LARGE quantities of the stuff.

that lithium is JUST what you need!

ive been thinkin about doing this for awhile and was wondering anyone else has tried it. I was in target the other day and saw orange glow in the dark spray paint and thought itd be great for those hard to find items at night such as flash lights camp shoes basically anything you want lemme know what you think .........
