Black Diamond (USA). Made mountaineer's equipment from 1975. Have own natural testing lab in mountain range Wasatch Mountains near by their head office (Salt Lake City, Utah). Invented FlickLock и Binary systems.
LEKI (Germany) Mother of trekking poles and may be one of the most known world companies for trekking and ski poles. Nowdays Leki is the only manufacturer, voluntarily gives their production for independent organisation with license (TÜV). Poles by Leki are known as most firm and durable. Invented SLS, Leki guarantee 140 kg pivotal pressure for each pole for non being crashing (labs conditions up to 200 kg) and aslo safty locking even with weaken tightening 360 deg.
