I'm doing Mt Shasta this week-end.
I'm looking for someone that have climbed the submit already & can tell me if the [b:ea4070849f]Campons & ice pic are really required ?.[/b:ea4070849f]
I usually like to hike very light. I do not use rigid shoes. & plan to not have Crampon. & use my usual 'ski" stick
Is it ok ?
Not real ice climbing ?
Please advise !
Please also tell me if you are the ype of coservative or more adventurous guys (it will help to make my jusdgement)
I know no one will advise to do unsafe stuff for other. Just tell e what you would do for you...
