The hiking world keeps getting bigger and bigger but hikers seem to know more and more members of this elite club. We are all hiking at different levels, in different terrain, in different parts of the world and that's what makes it so interesting and exciting!!
Trekking, hiking, bushwalking...whatever you call it....we're all walking around because we love it!! Through forests, over hills, around lakes and under branches....we smell flowers, see birds and set up camps....we are all essentially experiencing nature up close and personal.
Get to know members by chatting online on the site and depending on your hiking expertise....either learn about hiking if you are a beginner or give advice if you are a veteran.
Maybe someone just returned from trekking in the Himalayans or from the Rocky Mountains....it doesn't matter because each of us have a new experience to share with the other members of the site.
If you have any questions...you can ask the other members...if you don't know which backpack to choose, whether you should wear shoes or boots, what to include in your first aid kit...you can ask the other members.
You will soon find that upon returning from a really good hike, you won't call your momma anymore or your best friend....you will chat with other hikingforums.net members because we understand you, we know the thrill of the hike.
